660 or 880

1st off nice saw. Not suggesting you were being cocky.Kick back is not the only danger. Eye protection at least. This is a website for professionals and we will notice the small details. Not trying to offend you. I am constantly reminding my crew about the small things.
blsnelling thank you for your time posting good info on chainsaws. You obviously are a good saw mechanic and know your business.

My 090 would out cut my 088 when it came to 4' plus dia stuff. The 090 gets it done with torque and the 088 with rpms as I see it. Especially with flushing giant stumps it is nice to have extra torque when you cannot always get in the optimum position to cut as opposed to cutting wood on a stand. I could just stick my knee under the handle on the 090 and it would never bog only seemed to dig better when bucking. For a long time I had the next size up from 404 on it then later changed sprockets when that chain became scarce.

Sold the 090 last year tho.

Glad you going with the 660!!

I run a 42" bar on my 660 most of the time, pulls it no problem, great for them big pines and oaks ;) ;)
