I will be there. I had a blast last time. I did learn one thing outside of splicing though. Just because it is spring doesn't and I mean doesn't mean that it will be warm. Bring warm clothes...

That's exactly what my Dad said

"You want to sleep outside, in March???" he asked me. Rich, let us know when and how we can acquire a tree boat.

Also, how many CEU's. I asked this earlier, but it seems it wasn't answered.

We were approved for 8 C.E.U's last year and I would assume we can get the same for this year, but depending on how creative I can get with the write up, maybe we can get more.

The worlds sole unfiltered Single Barrel Bourbon is distilled and bottled less than 3 miles from where this event will take place......the man knows tree climbing, hockey, and apparantley the qualities of fine Bourbon !!!!!
Cheers !!!!

I brought a 5th of Beam last SSS and PUClimber, guy from Heartwood (can't remember his name)and I ended up in a poison ivy laden tree somewhere around 2-3 a.m. and I somehow or other ended up waking up under the tree in full gear...just in time for class..

Ha, Ha I remember hearing about that!!! Very funny...

Ranger I've got you covered on the frog system as long as you promise to belay me into my treeboat after a night of drinking. I'm actually considering bringing a tent for this reason (yes, I can learn hung over, just ask most of my college professors).

I maybe driving down with a friend/groundie now. I'll know in a week or so. He has a pimped out minivan, aka grocery getter that should hold all of my gear and myself and maybe even him if I pack light on the gear.

I lived it with Jeremy and it was good times. We disturbed house though during the night and he was not happy. By the way the heartwood guy was tommy masters. And count me in for this event again. It was such a blast last year and I can't wait to see it again.

Probably will bring some of the splicing tools for sure.............and for rope............ there might be some Splicing Symposium Specials featuring some of the rope made by our sponsors. (hint hint)

Bookers, Bakers, Knob Creek, Basil Haydens.....

All very good burbon. If you drink too much Knob this past new year's you might puke on your neighbor's porch though. Be careful of that. http://www.smallbatch.com/lpa

I want to splice a 3" or 4" double braid, can that be put on the syllabus? My brother needs a new climbing line....

Sure, you provide the rope, I'm sure Rich can provide a tractor or something I can use to help bury the throat on that thing. We have done 'em before.......

You are talking diameter right?
