Hickory heights sounds great but I don't know how well treeboats hold a 300+ pound, 6'3 man. I'll ask him to see how he feels about things. The nice thing is that human crane doesn't drink so he is great at rigging and being my designated driver.

Cory, still want me to bring those neutral milk hotel CDs?

The good news: We are looking at mid 50's for temps over this weekend which just happens to be perfect Tree Boatin' weather !!!!

The bad news: Both Toni and I evicted our first ticks of the season yesterday and where this is one tick, there are potentially millions of ticks!!! I wouldn't let this discourage any of you tree campers, I plan to soak Tyler is tick attracting sauce so we should all be free and clear....wait, did I say that out loud??

You all can duke it out over the tree boats, all the more room for the rest of us in the hay barn. That was one comfy sleep last year...

PS Hey John I heard there was a tornado in Perrysburg, everything OK on your end?

Yea, I like the hay barn, those tree boat guys are awake all hours of the night....I need some sleep now and then.

Yep, still here, no tornados here.

I didn't realize there was a barn option. Last year I was offered a shed if I paid the local dweller beer for rent. Is there any rent for a comfy hay bail? Is there a curfew? If so, enjoy the barn. I'll be sleeping in the minivan.

I doubt there is any curfew.....
The hay barn is the way to go. I ended up on the floor in the small room at the shop last year, and I wish I had slept in the hay barn. I quess it was better than under a tree in full gear with about an hour sleep, hungover and covered in poison ivy the following night?!?!?!?!

Hey Jeremy, that little room now has a super comfy bed as well as heat so you may want to recosider sleeping in the barn !!

The Hay barn is a great option for those who are considering tent camping. There is plenty of hay soft floor as well as a large loft area where you could just throw down a sleeping bag. Oh yeah, there is no cost for sleeping in the hay barn or on any other part of the property.

The ticks so far seem to be in check. We have gone the last two days working all over the woods with no issues. Hopefully that trend continues.

Ranger- I have you A # 1 on the list for Treeboats on Sat night.

You must be thinking of Chris. I've never heard of Neutral Milk Hotel. And whats a CD?

I think Jen, June, and I are on for Friday night. June won't party too long, but watch out for momma!

We'll see about Saturday.

Anyone heading in Thursday or Friday via airplane, if you could let me know when your arrival times are and flight numbers we will arrange several pick up times to get everyone to the farm.

For those driving in I would suggest stopping at the local beverage shops prior to hitting the property as this event will be BYOB+B (bring your own beer and Bourbon) We have several stores close by, but not all of them are 24 hour.

This time tomorrow I'll be a little under halfway to Kentucky. Now you guys are in big trouble.

See you there.. I just took off work, so all I need to do is throw some stuff in the truck and I am on my way. Oh', and pick up some bourbon!!!!!! Hay barn here I come!!!!!

Everyone drive safely !!!!!

If anyone has any questions while on the road or in route, don't hesitate to give me a call.

Trying to do my last minute planning before I leave Tomorrow. What is the meal schedule looking like. I get worried that I wont get my coffee in the morning. That would not be good. Should I bring my own. I know this seems silly but I do not function without large amounts of caffeine to get me started (especially if I've been drink'n.) Can't wait. Thinking about calling in sick tomorrow but that wouldnt be cool. Think we got removals to do.
