This is about all I have. Large white pine broke @20' or so at +30" in diameter. It creamed a leader and a few scaffolds before resting on a large lower scaffold with the butt suspended more than 25' up.

Sorry fellas, but personally I think it's gonna be really hard to beat Chuck's (Squad143) photo. So hard that I'm not even going to try.

Great photo Chuck! That should go on the cover of Wesspur or Sherrill catalog.

Here is my brother spear cutting the top out of a dead Spruce.

X ring in the hitch? Please tell us more!
it is a X-tender adaption to the VT that removes the setback from the hitch using the hitch climber pulley to bump up the x ring and take out the set back gap creating a one handed use VT , the top x ring acts as a heat sink to stop burning fingers on the descents and a couple of other uses I am working on. Levi fine tuned the idea with his suggestion of using a bicycle tyre inner tube to act as a semi stiff replaceable tether which is in the photo but not in this video The X-Tender climbing hitch

Is that like a micro pulley on steroids.
YES.. :D

originated from colemanjessenz's use of a DMM pinto spacer on the top of his hitch cord.
I have been climbing on it for over 6 months now? does start to slip a little when the prussic cord is about knackered.
works very well in conjunction with a powerscender set up and/ or a HAAS and hand ascender.
