it is a X-tender adaption to the VT that removes the setback from the hitch using the hitch climber pulley to bump up the x ring and take out the set back gap creating a one handed use VT , the top x ring acts as a heat sink to stop burning fingers on the descents and a couple of other uses I am working on. Levi fine tuned the idea with his suggestion of using a bicycle tyre inner tube to act as a semi stiff replaceable tether which is in the photo but not in this video The X-Tender climbing hitchX ring in the hitch?
