WOOHOO!!! The KY comp was great!! I had a great time, and placed 8th overall in the KY portion. I placed 20th or 21st overall, when out of stater's are included. So in a way, I achieved my goal and made it to the the Top 10 in KY. I have some definite areas to improve upon, but others I made vast improvements on this year. Finally got my foot lock under a minute. Went from a 2 minute 15 second record to something around 54 seconds I think. Maybe a bit less. Also tied for second place in the throwline event, when out of staters were included. Placed first in throwline, counting only KY climbers! Look forward to possibly coming back next year, depending on conditions.

Big shot out to Cory and other organizers and all the techs and judges. Nice work running a smooth and extremely fun comp!!!

Congrats Ranger! Sorry I had to miss the event, would have loved to see everyone. Out of town for the week and didn't get back in till this evening.

The run over from the Rec Tree Climber's Rendezvous was well worth it! Seeing a few new faces and lots of old, well, Scotty was the only 'old' one was fun!
