Almost. We aquired the machine and will be going completely through it before we sell it. We will be performing the following:
(Recommended 1000 hr service)
-change eng. oil and oil filter
-change air filter (inner and outer element)
-drain/flush/refill fuel tank, change fuel filter
-drain/flush/refill hyd. tank, change hyd. filters
(both suction and return)
-drain/flush/refill coolant system
-check hydraulic pressures
(Additional service)
-install full lighting kit
-install new center joints-both upper and lower
(Swinger loaders typically require this every 1000-1200
hours)

Nice machine, I have a grapple that would look mighty pretty on the front of that, or a stump grinder

Dave,
Is that your fabricating garage in the picture?

If you think its worthy to sell to a fellow treebuzzer;) let me know when its done and I will see where I'm at finacially. Is the swinger in Al, or GA?

It will definately be worthy when we are finished with the service. It will be located in North Alabama when finished. The Huntsville, AL area to be exact. I will keep you posted.

I looks like the visibility to see the stump would be better on the Swinger than on mini loaders... True?

Never the less, a stump grinder on either one would be cool.

Maybe, but with either you'll be mainly grinding by feel if you're using the self powered 38 Special from Top Notch. The smaller ones powered by the (mini) carrier are quite slow in comparison.

Sorry for the delay in posting. At this point it is not. I found a problem with the hydrostatic pump, and am currently completely rebuilding it and the auxillary pump (for good measure), also there was some fluid bypass in the drive motor so I replaced that with a new one. With what I am investing in the hydraulics to get the machine "perfect" I am going to be forced to keep it-at least through another project or two, to justify the expenditure. Thanks though for checking in about it.
