    I looked at the Yale Arborist catalog and it had elongation and breaking strength. They had it side by side with Tech-Kern and compared "average spliced breaking strength". It breaks at 6,730, whereas T-K breaks at 21,000. I wonder if you use a similar style to the splice used on the T-K? Those...

    I've got a question for you guys, has anyone tried splicing Yale R.I.N.G.? I know it's double braid like kernmaster, but that inner sheath might cause problems. Was just curious if it was even possible

    Thank you for the welcome and the insight. I was thinking the marlowbraid instructions looked like 10mm, but wasn't sure. I have yet to look into the Vega splice. Is there much difference between the two splices?
