I used it as my primary SRT line with RRP for a while. It does hold up to mechanical ascenders very well with no picking but has stiff hand and I found an Ivy version works a bit better in the RRP.
I just finished that book for the second time. A ton of great info in it. I now look at the forest differently and bore any companion that happens to be with me with interesting facts.

Notch Pro Access works for me with the fold open design that exposes all your gear in plain sight. If I had to replace it I'd go with the Courant Cross Pro since it is the same idea but has the option of a waist belt to ease the load on the shoulders for long treks to the trees.
