PHC Tech- South Jersey- NO tree work!

Hard sell... No Tree Work. Definitely not trying to throw a wrench, we all know, good help is hard to find these days. This may appeal to some, I'm just guessing the majority, on here, probably enjoy pruning, climbing, removals, etc. Hope you get some bites, sincerely.

    It's the economy dummy!

We have trouble with service technicians, maybe its regional? People seem hesitant to buy something no one can fix. I'm no finance genius, far from it, all I know is my 401k is steadily declining, even though I am contributing as much as I can afford each paycheck. Everything is expensive and my...

    new dawgs/excited

I knew I was reaching with this one.... I just got it, This is a spacer for a beehive. When the honey is coming on, you reduce 10 frames to 9. This allows for thicker honey frames. I had a plastic one, but it sucked.

Climbing and cutting this Ash removal.

Ailanthus is brittle and hinges poorly, and after being slashed and squirted even more poorly, just a heads up! Won’t be able to do much aside from fell with their lean. But certainly sounds fun! worth repeating..... Like Reply Report

Best $25. I spent in a long time.

That sounds like a great way to incorporate a screamer, smart; redundant. Still have the alpine available for rescue line too.

Best $25. I spent in a long time.

Glad your not too bad, doesn't sound fun at all. Thanks for the story. Always disliked adding "links" to systems, but in this case....using "screamers" hopefully mitigated some of the bodily damage. Screamers,@Stumpsprouts , from what I looked up, are basically the fat part of a fall arrest...

Tall Cottonwood = scary? Made to top!

Another "old school" photo. This was a cottonwood I did in my 20's, We couldn't get our shitty bucket to it so I got told to climb it. This was a crane removal. I was expecting a bucket day, it threw me off my game a little, but it worked out. Not only was I climbing mrs, Arborwear wasn't even...

Not gourmet pears but nice to eat

neat. I have cleaned up some downed (storm damage) pears that were pretty old. Didn't get around to grinding it and yep, the suckers came on with a vengeance, now, I'll select the dominant one and nurture it. seems fruit trees are good at this, also some magnolias.

I'm with you @ATH.... I really am starting to believe the efficacy rate of EB is good for 3 years. Do still suffer from don't change if this 2yr plan is working.

Climbing a tall tree with shorter rope(s)…

That spiral staircase is amazing? did you take the stairs?

Climbing a tall tree with shorter rope(s)…

Order longer rope. Not trying to be curt, just the best advice I can offer. We don't have super tall trees here. I can only assume that that kind of height changes things. having to switch over or carry additional gear to transfer to a new system might not be ideal in "new" territory. There are...

    Rot resistant wood suggestions please

I had poplar siding on my first house for termite resistance... but totally agree poplar droplar... the "architect" probably did a fast google search... it perked my ears up too. What about hickory?

    Rot resistant wood suggestions please

I am involved in a project and I'm looking to contribute some wood for a natural playground to support and anchor a tree section. It will be on its side and anchored to these horizontal logs. The architect involved wants either poplar or locust. Do you all have any other suggestions or...
