Haaa. Depending on the day I won’t argue with you. I may have spent a few thousand hours and miles chasing tides and flow charts up in your neck of the woods! Both beautiful places, can think of worse spots to be! Haa.
Thanks, hopefully it finds a good new home and I don’t kick myself in the...
Maybe I’ve gotten lucky with my anvil gaps. Knock on wood never had a clog with this machine. I was shooting at 90 degrees off forward last week for 15 plus yards with no problems. The mini is definitely my go to chipping method. Only time will tell how we will mesh with the winch.
Vermeer...
Yeh, I hope I don’t regret the winch on my new chipper with as much as I machine feed. Have been allot of jobs lately felt like a winch would have been very useful and freed up the mini for other tasks . See if the trade off is worth it.
I think drums the way to go. Had a 12xpc that made...
@Merle Nelson. Thanks for the kind words on condition. It’s a damn nice chipper and well taken care of. I just dont want to deal with bandit and Cat separately and was wanting to make a change.
Im not sure why we had lower feed wheel bearing failure so early. When it’s fed with the mini we...
Selling my 2018 15xpc Cat Diesel 430 hrs. Purchased a new 18xp finally showing up next week! Listed on marketplace but figured I’d throw it up on here as well. If you live in the NW welcome to test drive any time.
Chipper was on an Fmi lot in Texas. I bought it brand new from FMI with full...
Everything written above is good info! My first chip truck was a Ram 3500 that I converted into a dump bed. I found a broken down Chevy with an electric hydraulic flat bed. Along with the help of a a good friend that is a great welder / fabricator we swapped the beds and I built wooden sides...
Haaaa. I agree with everything said in the last few posts. Vermeer are a pain in the ass and don’t compete with bandit. I will say the 1500 I ran was not bad. It had vertical feed wheels and I wrote it off before it even started. I too feed exclusively with mini and I stuffed the sh”t out of...
Haaa yeh beer thirty maintenance is about all can pull off these days! Myself and my two guys. When not working trying to keep up with the family and all of the lovely back end business. Routine knives and fluid changes no problem but I don’t want to be doing major repairs in my driveway on a...
Ax 19 is too much. It’s over cdl and overkill they made the ax17 to be basically a lighter version of the ax19. But it’s 130k so F that haaa. I ran it and I wasn’t 130k impressed that’s for sure!
ranted about my 15xpc issues on the other thread. Long and short def and electric issues...
Appreciate the comment. I too have been a bandit man from day one. 90xp upgraded to 12xpc and currently 15xpc. The current machine has broken my heart. Coupled with the toss around of dealers, 3 diffent ones in 2 years in my area. Service is next to impossible and it seems like the best buddy...
Not too far diverted from my last thread but trying to make a big purchase desicion. Neither of my dealers have the machine i want available to demo. I’ve run the 15 version of both but only in diesel. It can get either with same setups and essentially same price and terms, Gas on both. I know...
