Here is what we can do to start a new "green" burial trend. Root arou d under the seats of the truck, pull out all of the change, and buy an HG8000. Once you have done that, load the casket onto the infeed belt, and throw grandma, casket and all, on top of her favourite flower garden.

After a decade of use, my Blue Water figure 8 has eroded away enough for me to not trust it any more. It's time for a new one. I see there are tons of funky shaped ones on the market, each with it's own claims to fame, but do any of them actually add anything game changing to a a device that...
One I did. Was just dropping the top off of a silver maple leader, as i was uncomfortably close to the neighbours japanese maple. Decided to rig it out. Had everything set up, pulled the rope out of the way to make my notch, all is well. Let the rope go, had groundie set up the portawrap and...
Had my pulley, biner, and sling all attached and waiting to be sent up into the tree. Asked the boss to send up the pulley. After what i felt to be a very long wait, I get the pulley up to me, the biner and sling were still on the ground.

I have finally managed to kill the soles on my Timberland Boondocks after 22 months of hard use, in the tree and on the ground. I pretty much wear these boots for everything. While I would have no issue getting another pair, I was wondering if anybody has gone from Boondocks into another boot...

Tallest I had to climb to remove was a white pine somewhere in the vicinity of 130'
Tallest tree I could fell from the base was a poplar at 110'
I don't, but i do dump chip at a sugar bush. They have given me close to 5 gallons of syrup through the years. I won't wonder what happened when i get diagnosed with the beetus.

A friend called me to take a quick look at a side job at his place on my way home. Not having my chainsaws with me is never a reason to not complete a job.
I have always had vetwrap in the house for my horses, so thats what i bring with me. I know that i have never had it come lose or fall off. Plus, you can get it in hot pink. The threat of me patching my groundies up with hot pink bandages keeps them from hurting themselves.
Every first aid kit should contain Vet Wrap. Its a self adhesive tensor bandage that is great for a multitude of things aside from just aplying pressure to a joint. Any time I need to apply a bandage to a limb, i use it. Keeps gauze in place much better than tape, and doesnt hurt when it comes...

Throw your lanyard over the top of the trunk, wrap it under a branch on the opposite side of the tree, then back over the trunk. Try to set it up so your lanyard adjuster is on the leading hip. Pull, thrust, and sware like crazy. The last part being the most important. It is t always easy, but...
