OK, used this today ... like it for high TIPs.
Delta TIP with Tagline Pull-down:
Easily set, moved & reset. Relatively easy pull-down even with a few redirects.
It would be simple to add a Pinto to the Tagline using Derrick's technique, making pull-down with multiple redirects even easier.
A neighbor had two piles of brush to move - already stacked ...
Ever tried pushing a rope ... through a pile of brush?
EZPZ with a little rope trickery:
Push a PVC (or CPVC) pipe under the pile and push a rope through the pipe. Pull the pipe out and cinch the rope around the pile. Size the pipe...
The pull-down termination is a Double Overhand Noose ("double fishermen's"). The cinch termination is a Figure Nine, which makes it easier to move the TIP.
The technique, in the photo below, is getting popular. I've tried it a few times but prefer the Delta TIP (above).

I guess, I should update a bit. This is my current fav TIP with a Delta. It can be set/retrieved remotely, even in-tree. It also makes moving the TIP very easy. :)

Basic components: Rope Wrench, bungee knee ascender, foot...
You raise a good point about safe work, Jomoco. I've maintained that tree for the past couple of years and have been all over it with comfortable understanding of it's strengths and weaknesses.
That's why I back-tied through the main stem. The point I'm climbing on is not my main TIP. It's...

IDK -- 'pop-outs' {first link} might not work on some phones, etc. ... ?
Both links worked on my laptop, wife's iPad, and Android ...
