    stihl battery tools

I just yesterday had my first opportunity to do a full removal with my husky 542i and it was beautiful. 80% off would definitely get my attention too. Our local Stihl dealers are slow getting on the battery wagon though while our husky dealer is in with both feet.

As a government employee, the following two statements have been my motto for years. They apply no matter what level employee you are. "We the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible, for the ungrateful. We have worked so hard, for so long, with so little, that we are now...

Cavities and honeybees online on June 20th, 11AM-1PM Eastern US time.

A year ago we had our outside contractor remove a tree that I knew had a hive in it. I got to the jobsite before the cutter got close to the hive and warned him of its location. He said ok, no problem, "I have a bee suit" . He apparently did not use it and when he got to the other side of the...

URGENT call out for help Migratory species act willful violation

What about support structures. A tree with that high a historical value, external support structures would certainly be justifiable. I have seen some structures that are quite involved and doing their job as designed.

Anybody know what the penalty for destroying a nesting tree would be? Misdemeanor or felony? Just asking.

URGENT call out for help Migratory species act willful violation

We had one of our City oaks loose a huge leader and there are a number of other areas that are questionable. I was by today doing an inspection and noticed a pair of Red Bellied woodpeckers that appear to be nesting. Looks like it may be a while before we can remove this one. Not getting quite...

Fallen red-shouldered hawk nestling put back up

Noisy, YES!! but they are like owls when they come back in to the nest when there are young present. Usually if you don't see them come in you will not hear them. And they come in quickly.

Fallen red-shouldered hawk nestling put back up

Our back yard Red Shoulders have raised a brood for the second year running. It is fun watching them. Their nest is in a Loblolly Pine about50 to 60 feet off my back porch and deck. I am waiting g the day I will have to renest one of the fledgling. Moss, I'll call you for tips when that happens.
