    Petzl i'D with 100' Aztec - - SOLD

Yale 11.7mm never runs that big... mine all measure around 11.5mm even when not under tension. It is, in fact, the small i'D and it works great on this rope. Easier to find the sweet spot than with smaller ropes.

    Traveling Abroad as a Climber

My ideal treeworking job would be maintaining a tree that is just outside my bedroom window. I could keep an electric power pruner and a refrigerator next to the bed. I could just open the window when it needed water and fertilizer. With a steady supply of beer and tacos, I think I would excel...

Tree work is not for everyone… The importance of listening to your minds voice

That's just like you, @rico to be worrying about shit that already happened. I do feel your pain, though. Back in '84 a drunk that tested .26 an hour after the accident (a bit over the limit) creamed me on my motorcycle after running a stop sign. Broke my fibula and shoved it about 3 inches out...

Trango Cinch w/ HTP Lanyard - - SOLD

As a professional heckler and all-around pain in the ass, it's unlikely that I'll disappear from here, unless there's a lynching and a lot of gunfire involved. I once asked for advice on finding a vacation hotspot to visit, and the site administrators suggested the Kalahari Desert and offered to...

Tree work is not for everyone… The importance of listening to your minds voice

I hate it when I drink so much coffee in the morning that my hands are shaking like crazy while I'm up in a tree. Especially if I spill an entire glass of decent bourbon.

Anyone able to recommend a full Haas Knee ascender setup ?

I've always just used a bungee neck tether. Some folks don't like things around their neck, though. It's never bothered me because the bungee cordage I use won't hold a bowling ball's weight, let alone my fat ass. So, it's always a disappointment to the gathering crowds when they waited all day...
