    Giant G2500 HD X-TRA

You know, we really don’t know each other that well on here and who knows? Maybe Matias was dropped on his head a time or two as a child. I’d rather take a comment at face value and respond respectfully than give some snarky smart ass response which certainly may be tempting at times…

Someone please design an industrial level version of the fiskar telescoping pole pruner

Maybe 1/2” consistently. Not big enough to really impress me but the quality of cuts and ease of use for fine pruning is why I like it. If you are making big cuts this is not the right tool. If you do fine pruning, that is where this thing shines.

Someone please design an industrial level version of the fiskar telescoping pole pruner

I’ve been using this for a while. https://arbsession.com/castellari-tucano-pole-lopper.html I bought the medium length and really enjoy it. It is a touch small at times but it is really nice for small cuts. So nice to not be chasing the pruner cord.

AIs are Talking about Tree Work

Marketing is a slow burn. It took a while for us to rank higher on Google but we are finally consistently in the top 3. I’ll send you a PM with another thing that I think is working well for us.

    Fu*%face Von Clownstick

If you want to listen to a really heavy podcast about crime, punishment, and the death penalty I highly recommend listening to The Alabama Murders on Revisionist History They talk about the various methods and how truly horrific they are. It is a long series but a great listen if you have...

Questions for Canadian Arborists from the UK

Squamish is beautiful but it is an expensive place to live from what I’ve heard. You should reach out to Dan Holliday from Climbingarborist.com and pick his brain. He moved from the UK to BC and started a tree care company. He might have some good insights about where to put down roots in BC...

Powered pole saw with side-cutting blade

I don’t know about you guys but I’m pretty sure my crew has been trying to make a homemade version with our Husqvarna pole saws. I’ve had to take some bent ones into the shop a few times…

    Fu*%face Von Clownstick

That exactly how I feel. The populace in this country for all the bluster is VERY passive. So many people relatively comfortable but also on the edge of homelessness. One misstep and you are basically ruined. But it is just going to take one nut who just doesn’t give a crap about anything or...

Why Is It So Expensive to Cut Down a Tree?

Controlled speedline with tag line for 2/3 of the upper foliage. Then lowering line and tag line into the pocket where the lead failed and ripped out branches on the way down. I won’t say it was easy. It was probably one of the most physically demanding jobs I’ve done in a long time.
