Ok around here I rarely need a 36' bar but it does happen. Falling stobs and bucking bigger longs. A friend at work bought a huztl 660 clone. I laughed at him thinking it would grenade in first few tanks. It didn't, what it did do was seize he thought. Nope it was the paul's in the recoil...
Ya here too wish I had an old bones saw lying around, my old line clearance foreman took a hold pickup load of old saws to the dump five years ago after he retired, and I know there where a hand full of 200ts in there. That load is worth $$$$$$$ now.
I don't know the exact price of total work completed probably more them 3500 because he did some climbing and the fact he worked for two neighbors. The point is his work was trash. he took way too long and Meth is the culprit fucking leach these kind of people make us all look bad.
About 12 80' red cedar and two 70' blue spruce didn't have to climb but half to set ropes made a huge mess and away he goes the neighbors are stupid for hiring him and they realize it too.
I don't like Meth, ladders and chainsaws while wearing climbing gear. He didn't fall or cut himself so must be well practiced. If my leg wasn't broken I would have done all those trees for my neighbor s but they heard my leg was fucked up so they called the cheapest pos around and I'm jealous...
Gotta love these guys. The neighbors got some tree work done this weekend. By the best tree man ever! 250$ a tree any tree except deciduous. One tree gaff one pole gaff climbing a ladder with gear on for a full removal three days to do a one day job. No clean up. He wasn't on Meth today, but I...
Today I got an awakening. After felling 28inch 10 foot willow stob, I cut it into firewood size chunks so I could pile the rounds. I set my saw down and went to step over the pile I had started, I stumbled a bit and my left leg got between two rounds as I slowly fell forward. Pop! I hear and I...
Curious how long you fellas get out of your eye to eye pursiks? How much glazing over do you tolerate? Sap? Rotating/flipping them over. Washing them. What's your favorite?
I use beeline with slack tending cmi pulley set up in a distle on1/2 arbomaster for my flipline, and it holds up good cuz...
Right on. Hope you get to be around good tree guys from now on.I have never worked back east. What my mentors used to say to me was, worrie bout myself and them other guys will work their way down the road. To put it nicely. Good luck down there watch out for them snakes and spiders
Thanks for the reply the one I have is also sighed. So I'm just looking for a lightly used copy for a couple guys at work that are doing a great job. Maybe Jerry will put it back into print. I think they would once again sell.
