What's In Your Gear Bag?? TCIA wants to know!

To be fair, the person heading the TCIA profile here is most likely a content writer doing their best. They're really nice folks over there. Not everyone can be an arborist, and it's nice to have people supporting the industry despite not being arborists. I do get what you're saying though...

    Custom financing

Also, I've not had a tire kicker go th That's good to know! When we used jobber we really liked how wisetack was integrated. It made things easy.

    Custom financing

No idea, above my pay grade. I just offer it. I'm in the same boat, I don't really do consumer debt. But some folks just like payment plans. And they often offer well qualified folks no interest financing. I did my roof that way. It was really convenient and helped with cash flows.

What's In Your Gear Bag?? TCIA wants to know!

I climb on a tree austria pro. I like the suspenders for that saddle too. Recently got an edelrid hardhat from arbsession with newer senas. It's okay, I'll get a different one soon, hopefully something lighter. I'm supported by something newish and, blue, and 200' long with a spliced eye on one...

    Custom financing

Financing tree care can be difficult because it's unsecured. Your standing as a quality business owner helps tremendously. The couple times we'd switched from one thing to the other we were screened for legitimacy pretty heavily.

I'd recommend wise tack. We recently moved to greensky and are less happy. Wisetack makes it easy. What CRM do you use? The big ones offer financing options.

    ISA TRAQ & CEU changes

That's a take I didn't think of. By segregating the classes into first time takers and requals they drained much of the discussion that can come from having diverse learning groups. I know very little about how certs and quals, or a lot of education, is actually managed and credentialed. This...

    ISA TRAQ & CEU changes

For your area definitely. Environmental engineering would be useful on the coast.

    ISA TRAQ & CEU changes

I use it for reporting mainly. Insurance, protection documents, failure analysis. A lot of independent risk assessments. Idk, it has its place in certain markets.

    ISA TRAQ & CEU changes

Like OSHA 30 and stuff. It's frustrating when they use construction standards for a non construction environment. We're not dealing with engineered principles. The refresher course was great for TRAQ, I'm not happy to hear about these changes at all. I don't see any benefit to completely...

    How you pick your name?

My old company was Pankey Plant Health Care. I was the product, as a contract arborist. I wanted to differentiate pruning and plant healthcare contracting vs a removal guy. Blue Pine Works was different. I didn't want my name attached because I'm not the product. I'm a tool for the business to...
