    Rock exotica for most of it. I do like Dmm but like to support American made. Ovals and hms are my most common. Not too many Ds floating around. I have a few CTs but prefer the downward pulling motion.

    2007 - only used it for access to start, frog walker system, I also would use rads system off and on. 2009 - I used the f8 system a while and never liked it but always liked the idea. Been on srt positioning off and on since then. 2011 almost full time srt positioning.

    Iirc he un-weaved the entire rope and then re-wove the thing back together. More power to you but I won't be trying that. Looks really clean.

    Ian is correct, one side is a true locked brummel and other other side is not. Its a partial two tucks back and forth and then the bury.

    If you have extra throwline laying around that works well with larger sized ropes. Most throwlines are around 1.5mm to 2.2mm and have a breaking strength of 450-1000lbs.(dynaglide is 1000lbs). Also you can take some of the scraps of the taper and use a few of the pieces to lock stitch them...
