Just picked one up on sat. 20" bar, cuts quick,I like the saw. I have only used it for a couple of hours so time will tell if I stay happy with the saw. My 260 pro on the other hand, I'm ready to use that as a tire chalk for the chipper

Thats why I was loking for a little assistance on this one. The damage is from last year, and the forester for the city was looking for some answers. Last season was a very bad year as far as leaf diseases go, since I could not find any signs of vascular disease(cambium looked perfect)I was...

New Female Climber On the Scene!

It's so much fun having the kids climb. I got both of my nephews saddles for x-mas. I thought their mom was going to kill me when she saw I had the both of them in my elm.Plus my wife was not to pleased when the dinner guests all came out side to watch.

    declining lindens

I took a look at these lindens today. The tips are blighted similar to fire blight and there are fruiting bodies on the live tissue just behind the twig dieback. The soil is compacted, the mulch is too deep(valcanoes),and the trees are not getting water during drought. My thinking is that the...

    Another fatalilty.

I would be very willing to send some $$ if there is a fund set up for this poor guy and his family. I would hate to think that there would be no aid just because he was from Guatamala. It would be very nice if we could set up a general fund for such tragic events.

    HRC

Thanks Tom, If it was just for me I was buying it for I would not mind the price. But when you start handing it out to everyone I want to make sure in the long run it was worth the added expense. If my wife new how many tree toys I buy with my own money I would not be typing this.

    HRC

[ QUOTE ] HRC is the best performing cord that I've found. Worth the extra cost because the performance sets the mark for all of the rest of the cords. [/ QUOTE ] Tom,what qualities did you find in the HRC to justify the cost as compared to sta set?

    Prussik cord purchasing

Re: Prusik cord purchasing Thanks Nick for your response. You confirmed what I thought as I looked at the XLS. It did feel a little loose compared to the sta set. I don't think it would be a bad cord, but I do not think it would last as long.I don't think the samson guys would like to hear...
