Nice thing about hands on is you can confirm it all works. I'd think online should sell that piece as a kit, or they should build one if you call in. It's not expensive, maybe $10.
They should have it. I think I might that at Lowe's, home Depot, or maybe an irrigation supply. I had it kicking around for a handle of years from a project.
Online is nice, but they should have it at the box stores in a pinch.
This little package is how I've always done it. There's a particulate screen, backflow preventer, and a pressure regulator. All critical stuff for a drip system that is attached to a potable water system.
Particulate screen is pretty straight forward.
Backflow preventer helps to avoid having...
One of the big nursurys around here that plants trees does warranty, however they require an operational automatic irrigation system meeting their needs.
That's both a good idea, and potential for an upsale even if it's a basic hose timer and inline drip circuit.
Stanwood, Washington. Smack in the middle of the PNW. Nearby it's pretty much a temperate rain forest. Lots of big conifers and a few of the broadleaf trees can get huge too.
I was broke into the trade back on Maui doing palms, monkeypods, and eucalypts.
North Carolina, I hear some parts are...
Thanks Reed! Pleasure to sleep your acquaintance! Where are you from?
Will did an awesome job, and we're certainly trying to be a part of pushing our industry forward.
Makes sense. I'll look into this too since both ideas together would be super slick, and as a temporary fix the brace would certainly be easier to accomplish.
What's your name 96?
Thanks!
Great idea. I assumed it was important to keep this brace tight, at least so it doesn't rattle.
I'm leaning towards Sean's jib idea since I could leave that brace solid, and it takes the lifting out of the equation. Having the brace out of the way would make a huge difference in being less...
Without a doubt there is some serious value in doing it while on-site, both to you, and to the client in that it's closer to "turn-key".
I was just pointing out that subbing it out shouldn't mean you have to make a separate visit after the sub.
