Stein Arb Trolley

Looks like a can of sardines! Nice job brother. At one time I had it in me ..... now Id be hard pressed to fill one. At least with efficiency anyway. My hats off to you.

Thanks it took some time I won't lie. My father who is 79 actually did a lot of it himself. He's like a machine, hardest working man I know. He thought I was crazy for spending $700 on the trolley but he came around. The rolloff driver was impressed with how well we packed them, said they slid out like a giant Jenga puzzle.

Good call on the Lowe's bag, perfect size for smaller loads of stuff.

Looks very not bad . I'm sponsored by waste management so I can't be caught repping Lowe's ;). With the bagsters you could break your back trying to load it in a truck without mechanical assist. As I pictured I work semi frequently in insanely landscaped yards with decks and expensive tight shit ,this equels limited mini skid access ..So we fill bagsters which looks to be two Lowe bags full if not more and load with mini into truck by the street.. We plan on mounting one of those northern tool cranes to lift into one of the truck if mini not available. Bolt it down on back of bed crank it up then swing the load into dump. Sometimes we get the entire cleanup of a whole property prune or a few removals into one bag. Couldn't imagine dragging a bag around , the trolley really is the key I've found, and of course actually getting bag in the truck... A ramp could work well I imagine with some m.a. to haul trolley with heavy bag up and in...Oh the possiblities ...

Yep, I have a Bagster. Overloaded that a few times before I got smarter. They hold way more than I can lift or even move at times by hand.

We've got the bigger version of that bag, the one's that you buy sand in from the masonry supplier. Two or three trashcans fit in them, then you can load into the cans and move the whole thing with the mini. Load the cans individually in the truck. Cuts down on trips on those big cleanups in a backyard.

If like to go a step further and make it with hitch tube that will accept slugs instead, allowing a pintle hitch for my 4400 pound chipper that is useful to spin manually 180* at times.

The axle will bear the load, stabilized by the basket.

P.S. the rear tube is at 6.6'of the ground. We load the basket, add PVC sleeve extensions, then as we get to the top of the pipe, we can slide the pipe up another 2'. Chainsaw wrap handles slide over the PVC, and gets held up and cushioned by brush. Rakes on top.

The last idea is simply a notched plywood tray, with a support beneath it. Riser boards will adjust the height. A metal baseplate welded to a nut that fits the shank of the tow ball. Screw in the right size tow ball. Through-bolts through the layers will hold it together.

Only out of pocket cost is a bit of welding, and the base plate.
