True Fuel 1 qt round bottles are better that Sthil; They seal better over long term, but both are good.
Apparently, Sthil has stopped making the round 1 qt. They only have rectangular 1 qt containers; which are a pain in the A$$ to pour.

I don't understand the term "aspect of the sloughed bark".
Initially, the bark just seems to be peel away from the wood intact. Many months later I see healing over the exposed area.
So far, I have not removed any of the peeling bark. Just leaving it to develop.
I don't think this was winter damage.
I noticed the initial damage during both 2 years during the normal summer growing season.
Actually, I think the splitting is continuing; but it does seem to be healing over ! ! !

Arborwear is 20 miles from my house. I've known Bill Weber since ~ 2008; very nice fellow. Bill is very generous to climbing competitions, etc. :)
