Ok, Don’t get me wrong here, I use Sherrill for a lot of ordering and am usually very pleased. Only a few times where they really botched it, but who doesn’t? But THIS... this is funny.
(Combo “includes savings”)
But if you piece it out=
I personally thought it was quite amusing. No?
I am thinking about compiling an ARK to keep near the work zone. Was wondering if anyone has one prepared and what you may have in it ready to go. I am thinking it should all fit in one backpack style haul-pack, and should always come out of the truck before an ascent.
This is what I have so...
Thinking about the Empire. So if anybody has owned one, a little extra insight there would be great too.
Does it run big like the Edge did?
Any problems with the belt loosening?
The Velcro strap for the waist/belly. I do enjoy it because it keeps some chip-throw out the britches. My concern with it has become that after a while you can notice a hard white plastic revealed at the point it exits the interior of the waist belt.
With my old Edge Saddle; that hard plastic...
I do kinda dig the idea of this harness. Is Buckingham the only place you have found it available?
I couldn’t really find a size break down on their website. It just said S,M,L. But not what waist that covers.
Have you been able to add simple suspenders to that thing?
The Velcro/elastic strap...
I wonder how the TIP was achieved. Climb down from the top, with safety of course. But then why not decend and do the inspection? I am sure they have reasons I don’t know.
But the TIP being wrapped around that beam with squares corners is kinda spooky to me.
@Windwalker, why so sold on the 1/2”? I agree that a 9/16 is a nice jump in capacity without too much bulk.
Remember that with the dynasorb lines the nylon core that gives the elasticity will start to lose strength after reaching max capacity a number of times. So if it’s getting shock loaded...
I haven’t actually even ordered one yet. So i’d Say it’s the newer version ;) haha.
But this morning I ordered one for my boss. I am gonna take a close look at his when it arrives and from there consider getting one for myself. Just curious about the Lower-D possibility.
So do you think...
This is an old thread, but seems to be a suitable spot for my question.
With the Onyx, where are you securing your saw? The dog snap part of the leash, not the ring which would go on a caritool behind the hip-D.
And has anyone been able to flip the rigging plates around without having to cut or...
Ok forget the crap art , I am on a phone and it’s 2am (CHEERS)
But I think a little support for safety and PPE would be cool. Rich Hattier referred to ours as a culture of safety. Yet; I come across some guys sometimes that either don’t want to take the time, or have some strange perception...
