Awesome machine! I love mine. Only downside I can think of is its a little top heavy, unstable on hills. After 300 hours I have had no issues, just simple routine maintenance, grease change filters and teeth.
What make and model grapple trailer do you use Brendon? I have been looking into grapple trucks but the cost is holding me back considering we don't need to move logs every day.

No doubt the tree will survive short term... Long term I would have to think your work will limit the trees life span. To me the wound size of the cuts made out weigh the risk of whole tree failure. If you had already reduced the trees size twice, why not just maintain that size?
