Pretty boring story all in all. The guys at work didn't even think I was hurt because I was so calm, not that it was a horrific accident or anything. Most of those guys are drama queens and over react about everything.

I was pulling a piece of steel of the steel rack, a piece of 2" round stock about 2 feet long. Guessing @ 40lbs. Anyways the opposite end fell of the support dropping and forced the othe end up smashing the top and tearing the bottom.

so I'm getting some stitches removed today. A non tree related accident at work, but still enough to keep me grounded for a week. Hopefully the Dr. Gives me the ok to fully return. Who whould have thought that a thumb injury would slow me down so much?lol.

Would love to continue working the "city job" but think some major changes need to be considered which is tougher than parting the ocean. At least at my city. Maybe need to find a city that actually has a forestry/good tree operation.
I have a pretty good knowledge, there's always room for growth. But I think that's my problem. The farther up the chain you climb(no pun intended) the less hands on I get.
