Seems pretty cool.. Perhaps girth hitching the post will reduce the threat of the sling popping off. I would be pretty nervous rigging out anything just laying the sling over the post.

Anyone know what size fid to use for the treesave 1/2" line? Not seeing a 1/2" fid on the website. I use the 3/4" fid for the 3/4" line...
