Jay butchers ring failure is why I'll never use kong, and as far as the caritool goes, I hook the saw straight to it-right on the top handle of my trim saws and the handlebar of bigger saws, or sometimes the carabiner of my saw leash, but any of them can easily be done one handed on and off...
I'm looking for like 35' (continuous) of 8mm hitch cord on the cheap
Also wanting 2 DMM small swivels, and camp turbo foot ascenders (left and right)
I have a lg DMM swivel I'd consider trading unless someone gives me a good use for it, haven't actually used it in a work setting since I bought it
I will be there, I'm also looking for a cheap place to crash if anyone knows of anything. Does anyone know where the rope wrench rules stand...are we still required to climb on a CE1891 rope?
I would go with a rock climbing rope, lots of energy absorbtion and I think the smallest single line is like 8.7mm
As long as it's CE certified single rope your good to go
No just General liability $1mil/$2mil ag
I don't know if it's the same everywhere but here subcontractors do not need workers comp and the company your working for wouldn't need to cover it either, or so I am told. I do at least have med insurance should something ever happen knock on wood
Sounds like something I'd be interested in, especially if it gets me cheaper insurance. I work full time and only contract on the weekend, but in my area (east of Cleveland) I'm charging $75/hr, 200 minimum.
