What length is your dump trailer? I see you have a root grapple in the front. I am getting a dump trailer made, and cant decide on 14 or 16 foot. May end up getting a DW 1050
I was thinking of getting a DW mini. I have just ordered a dump trailer, do I need to get it with drop axles, or does the four inches matter at all with loading with a DW and BMG? I have the two foot side walls, and was thinking about adding the a 2x12 wood on top of that. Thanks!
I am on the fence bout articulating vs mini skid. I live around Dallas, trees are not huge, mainly suburban houses with fences. I cannot decide. Not a big fan of dragging plywood every where, but the 36 inch access is appealing. Help me!!
I am looking into the 254T, one issue I am thinking about is it is too tall to get into my shed or garage. What are your thoughts on keeping it outside, with a tarp or build something to drive into, like just a roof. Also, is there any problems driving them up the ramps into a dump trailer? Thanks!

I am looking at getting my first mini. The DW1050 unit they had has two knobs for controlling the tracks versus a single joystick type. He thinks the two knob set up is superior. What do you think? Thanks!
How many plywood pieces do you have to bring to each site? Do you have to put them anywhere the mini goes, or just where you will be turning? Trying to decide between a mini and an articulating machine for tree work. Thanks!
