    stahl/arbortech

The quality is okay. Some things I've noticed about the box: The box seems to have more flex than my southco boxes. It will flex and touch the Lpack a little bit. The boxes for the lights are not fully sealed. The boxes have already filled with dust seeping in from the chip box. Same with the...

    stahl/arbortech

Hey treebuzz. I am looking to see what peoples thoughts are on Stahl/Arbortech. I bought a new freightliner chip truck from them this year. Its not been the best experience so far. I bought a truck off the lot from them and these are the immediate problems. They were supposed to swap the...

How do you carry rakes and shovels on your rig

how many rakes and shovels do you need to carry!? using a forklift to transfer your rakes and shovels seems overkill. perhaps your idea needs a bit further explanation.

    Flipped gehl al540

I hope that glass door isn't too expensive. Is that all that broke? I ordered mine with a open ROPS with the anticipation it would someday be sideways.

The biggest thing is to carry the load as low as possible and approach hills straight on if possible.

    Flipped gehl al540

They are tippy machines for sure. I wouldn't recommend letting just anyone drive them. It looks really flat there. I tipped mine once on flat ground driving backward and turning. The branch dug in the ground and leveraged the machine over. We flipped it over with the chipper winch in less than...

Pictures of your chipper truck, lets see them!

Cummins 5.9 and Allison Auto. 250 horse. It pulls a 1590xp. I ordered this one with a ladder box. My last chip truck did not. I like both of my trucks to have all the same tools so everyone can get a job done. Provides a space for a ladder, stihl power pruner, rakes, and shovels.
