I slipped on the spar and put my spurs through my New England Tachyon today. This was the first time I've done that. I don't see any damage to the rope, but I cannot really see the core.
Has anyone else ever done this? What did you do?
Thank you for the replies. The lean appears to be photo tropic. It hasn't fully corrected itself, and not knowing the history, I do not believe it has started to lean more since the roots have been cut. The root removal appears to be recent.
There is a fence, backyard and town homes in the...
I came across a Douglas fir yesterday which I noticed had three roots pruned to allow for the construction of a new staircase. The tree has a slight phototropic lean to the north east. The roots were pruned on the west and southwest side of the tree. Due to the tree's proximity to the houses...
We were using regular Motorola two way radios until I dropped mine when I was passing a branch. They were good, but I'm sure there are better suited options out there. I am curious to see what others are using.
I know the pictures are sideways, but I cannot seem to change them without completely removing them and starting over. The buds are opposite.. which leaves maple, ash, dogwood, or horsechestnut. Out of the choices, I suppose I would say some type of maple.
I've never had that issue and I run the bungee through the inside of my bridge. Could you be bent forward, almost in a crouch position, when stepping up with it?
I completely agree. I would occasionally tie it the opposite way by mistake when I first started the VT.. It was a big source of frustration as it would never hold.
Freeweight, I never have spliced either. I've heard it's really easy, but I am hesitant to do it in case I do something wrong. Where are you going to order the equipment from?
I love vortex. I know it is heavier; however, I like the trade off of larger rope for my hands.
Rope wrench should be used with a 28" cord. I personally use 8mm Ocean Polyester and I love it. I switch between a 3/4 and 4/3 VT. I did tie a 3/3 one time when I was distracted. I actually...
I didn't realize I posted such a short message. What I meant to say was we have our liability insurance with hub international. It's general liability insurance, but no where on the documents does it specify height restrictions.
