    I found sugoi and sugawaza similar, one is just a bit bigger. Can't go wrong with the zubat. If it's big enough that you need a sugawaza then just get it with your top handle.

    We Got a first gen when they came out and apparently there was a machining issue right from the factory which caused premature wear on the cylinder walls, something to that affect. Atleast that's what The dealer said after it finally conked out. The 2nd one we got has run like a champ.

    I prefer stihl for being easy to deal with chain/bar swaps etc. BUT, the power to weight ratio of the husky 562 is really impressive. All the new saws have this computer usb garbage on them and can't be tuned on the fly so take your pick. Can't go wrong with either

    Good to know. I'm trying to utilize srt more often so I can cut down on a lot of the unnecessary ware on my climbing lines. Natural crotch Ddrt is hard on ropes if it is anything!

    I went with vortex cuz you can't beat that purchase your hands get while climbing on half inch. I'm gona use it as my all-around, do-most kinda rope and see how it holds up.

    Xtc for the day-to-day ddrt work horse stuff. It's awesome and lasts for aeons. Gona try vortex cuz I love 1/2" and want something that'll do srt as well. Spent a lot of time on bluemoon but not sure if I like it too much. Would probably go with 200ft of tachyon for any long ascent/srt stuff...

    I love my Alveo vent. I always swap bigger earmuffs onto my lids cuz I'm running big saws a lot. HATED the protoss power ranger tron helmet...ya ya, sue me. Kask sat to shallow on my head and both it and the protos seemed to funnel sweat down onto my forehead and into my eyes.

    When the hh and biner are kinked or not lined up adequately, the rope gets bound up and you can't tend slack.

    Does the pulley help to alleviate some of the binding the hh gets when attempting to tend slack without the biner and hh being anatomoly correct?

    Man, I would love to do treework in redwood country. We get tall doug firs up here but I absolutely love Sequoia sempervirens, they're rare where I am but I've been lucky to work on a few 'decent' examples. Your set up sounds slick.

    I found the zig zag to be either insta-grip or free fall...maybe that's just me? Does the wrench add some reliably smooth friction to the feel or is it the same kinda free fall descending but on srt?
