    SAKA

thanks for taking the time to put that together. it actually explained a lot and makes sense with my haas oriented the opposite way. ill put it to practice and see what I come up with or have anything to add.

    SAKA

ok had a go with it today. I think u were right with the angles and my technique. I went up and concentrated on keeping my legs under me and it was fine. felt awkward kinda like doing a leg extension vs stepping up tho and I had to take smaller steps. as soon as I started stepping like I...

Where are you guys climbing when not working?

I have 250 acres of wooded park land for a backyard and that's the whole reason I started climbing when I moved out here. I guess I forgot or just haven't thought about what it'd be like without it. I don't think tree climbing is a crime either but that doesn't mean you wont be hassled by...

Tree motion mods-twin bridges and suspenders

if I had to guess I think with the htp its more about the parallel fibers in the core and the bend radius on the ring. I think a braided core would be preferred but then again the Buckingham replacmenet bridge looks like km max and I haven't heard anything bad about those bridges. I just...

Tree motion mods-twin bridges and suspenders

not on this saddle but I climbed with the bridge tied to the rings on my puma. I have no issues with that I just came across the new cougar saddle and saw the bridge so I was just thinking out loud on here and throwing an idea out there

Tree motion mods-twin bridges and suspenders

I was thinking that after I posted it. I think the cougar bridge works cuz it's girth hitched on the free side

    SAKA

Its definitely strange. I had this happen once before with an ascender but only because I filed down the top row of teeth and it didn't want to grab just like this one is doing. these teeth are sharp and once it grabs its not going anywhere but getting it to grab is the problem. ill be out...

    SAKA

my saka keeps slipping and doesn't seem to want to grab on my rope. ive been using cougar blue and Aztec and I know my hitch hiker flattens the rope, which im sure contributes to this, but I don't have a problem with my haas doing this. could the fact that the ascender is turned around opposite...

Tree motion mods-twin bridges and suspenders

Any thoughts on a double bridge tied like this? Similar to the new cougar saddle setup. The ocean cord is just for the picture.

question about the tendril- its listed as 11.1mm but I saw a sterling article that said it was 11.6? could u compare the stretch to another rope?

    Climbright pads + bucklite spurs

The one on the left came with the Spurs, the right came with the pads. Is the right the one ur talking about?

    Compact Bulldog Bone

I clip right into the spine w/o issue. I think the top arm tending point started from someone getting a lot of drag on ascent, not because it wasn't engaging.

    Sterling tri tech?

Same here. I thought it was purpose built for a lanyard and the tech 11 as a climb line. I couldn't tell u why tho

    Military veterans in tree care

EMDR therapy. Its not hypnosis but a therapy based on the idea that your mind heals during REM sleep and rapid eye movement so they try to replicate that during therapy.
