We lost a old buzz member yesterday @jontreeHI

I hate it when tragedy hits this close. I'm currently financially strapped at the moment. Taxes need to be paid, HO insurance, and 3g worth of repair bills for my truck. @evo PLEASE PM me in a month in case I forget. I should by recovered by then.

    Need a new mechanical

From the BlackBird thread a good point was brought up by member @Lupin_IV The Unicender was mentioned by @ATH It may be an awesome option. I find my self doing spar work and it leaves me using the ZZ as another flip line for a double tie in. Trouble is, there's no bailout option. It serves as...

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

Reon Rounds uses the Uni in this method. Gets me thinking more...... Bringing this back to my thread from earlier. I will post it up no. I forget what I called the thread. It'll appearunder WHAT'S NEW Sorry for the derail @moss now back to the BlackBird.

    GRCS

So I do need both...... :bailando:LOL I switch to the bollard if I need to punish it. I think I'd rather have the Hobbs for pre-tensioning before punishing it. Another piece of gear that falls in the category of, "doesn't come out in the field much but, glad to have it when needed."

    F250 Dump Thoughts

I use a 3/4 ton pick up with an extended cab as a contract climber. I keep my gear behind the seats and 2 saws ride in the bed. I like to bring home a load of good wood home when available. It gets old unloading by hand at the end of the day. Since my box is getting rough, I've been planning to...

    Before ‘SPAM’

Haven't touched that stuff since my early teens. I dislike all forms of spam. Green eggs and spam I am. :vomito:

    GRCS

That's a great deal. It's what I paid for mine brand new, a decade ago. @Chris Schultz why the hell do I want a Hobbs? Could just be the gear junkie in me. LOL

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

Meh....I didn't want to complicate my choices. LOL Seriously, it's one that escaped my radar. If I don't decide on something mid line attachable, it'll be a ZZ. I need something for a 200' crane rope. Using 2 climbers one day, I was setting slings while the other guy hung around the unions...

    Shop, garage, parking, etc.

I'm on a 5.5 acre ''farmstead'' in a very rural area. Works for me. Plenty of room to grow and expand, if I ever do. Would like to purchase the 66acres sold off, before me, and add back to this parcel. Levi, do what's comfortable for you. Take on more if you choose to. If it seem expensive, you...

Dealing with different types of people in business

I've learned 3 main trades in the field. It's a lifelong pursuit. Learning never ends.

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

May be what I'm looking for. I'll let the real world reviews come out first, instead of relying on an ART commercial ....LOL I do agree with all the above posts. Dude is an excellent climber. Blackbird has some very cool features and, I too, have always been keen on ART. Loves some German over...

    Camper Kong

Pretty cool for sure. A true sense of freedom. My favorites are the converted Unimogs.

That goofy dork looking guy Nick from Tree Stuff can shove it.

I try and push for unity wherever I am. It's a very hard thing to do at times. It is very satisfying when you know you have made a difference. No matter how small that accomplishment may be. May we all unite as brothers and sisters.

    ARLO's garage sale

Tree climber's pawn shop.... Holy crapola. That's a ton of gear passing through. Subscribed.

    Need a new mechanical

Not with a crane. I have sooo much rope, I have dedicated lines. I do need to replace 2 of them but, having so many to choose from, and assigned to certain tasks, makes them last much longer. My 200' rope will be dedicated to setting crane slings with it's device. This one will be fore a 2...

    pre-emptive WTB Buck Throttle

Using my ZZ on a spar so much, doing crane work, it becomes a second flip line/lanyard ..... Now I want a zillion. I never wanted one before. Wish it was sold separately. Anyone have one they want to sail? Hit me up......

    pre-emptive WTB Buck Throttle

Can't help but laugh. I'm sailing the same boat. I'll take the second that comes along ....LOL.

    Need a new mechanical

Yea I hear ya but, meh....if I'm buying a device to live on a rope, it'll be the ZZ. And my 200'er is a Yale. A virgin Calamine. But the Throttle may not like it? Except for MRS....which would be the purpose. Still defeats the hankering for a midline removable to share with other ropes. ZZ or...

    Need a new mechanical

Saw a negative review of the Throttle via youtube. He called it high priced garbage .... or something like that. He only tried 2 different ropes but then again, it's supposed to be a rope friendly device. I should have offered him $250 for it.

    Need a new mechanical

I prefer my spliced tie in on the device instead of 2 points on the bridge. I'm used to pulling the rope through the ZZ and don't mind so much.
