    I have 2 sets of gaffs that were used for about a month in training for telephone workers ( I have a buddy who gave me 3 sets and thought I could use them ) they are in excellent shape, but have pole spikes on them. I kept one set, selling these other 2 as I now have 3 sets of gaffs for myself...

    Yeah, Thats my fear, i think taking this much, which equates to roughly 1/3rd of the tree, It's going to die in the long run. They did originally want the whole thing gone , though, so maybe removal is best option??
