    Ditch Witch sk1550 quote?

I paid just under $40k for the machine. I got the weight kit and brush guard plus a half yard bucket. With sales tax the whole thing was $45,500. I didn't negotiate or anything. I think that was the bottom price and I needed a machine before the year was over. Don't let these dealers push you...

    Trouble with Up Equips 87-48

New equipment breaks. That's what a warranty is for. It covers any defects from manufacturing. Most equipment I've bought only has a one year machine warranty, the engines are usually two or three years. It happens, that's why you buy from a dealer you can drive to so they can take care of it if...

CMC HD Arbor Pro Spider Lift

Great, thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear you're making solid profit with it and it's been a solid machine. I'm in the market for one for 2019. Either an easy lift or cmc most likely. How many hours are in your unit?

    M15r gas

I did a demo with the m15r. It's a nice machine but weighs 9400 pounds. It was also a gasser, which end of the day is just a gasser. I fed big pieces with my mini, and it did pretty well pulling everything in. Not as well as I was expecting though. It would chip, auto feed, chip, auto feed...and...

    M15r gas

I have an f550 with a 12 foot bed, I think it's 5 feet tall, maybe a little more. I can put a decent amount of chips in it. The m15r is actually an 18 inch machine, so they say. It's also 9,000 pounds. I'm more interested in the production of a bigger machine than just being able to chip bigger...

    M15r gas

Thanks for the input. I think it's coming Friday for a demo. I've never worked with a larger chipper before. Production is key.

    Ford 6.8 Gas opinions

I would like to some input as well as I have considered the same route. I have a 2015 f350 6.2 with a 4.3 rear end that pulls the chipper no problem with a smaller load of chips. I would imagine the 4.88 rear end makes a big difference. I would be willing to bet it wouldn't be a problem. But...

I have to take a picture, you can find them online. Pretty heavy duty, folds out to open the hood. Worth the extra $800.

    Mini skid steer shopping

I bought a 1550 end of last year. I ran the 755 for 5 years and ran her hard every time I took her out. The 755 is an incredible little machine and saved me 10s of thousands in labor. I should be getting a commission of some sort for saying this, I hate to make your local ditch witch dealer...

    Omme 90’ arborist track lift!

It sounds like these units should be stored under cover. $12,000 computer bill with down time is not good. New equipment shouldn't have any major repairs if maintained properly. When I buy new I expect many hours or miles of hassle free operation.
