What’s the market like in Coeur d'Alene?

Well for my wife and four kids, I’ll make anything happen, I am my only limiting factor. However, it does suck that our $165,000 home, is about $420,000 up there equivalent. Also, the payroll rate for climbers is only about 15% more than here. Pretty much I probably would have to start a...

What’s the market like in Coeur d'Alene?

Good afternoon, I was curious about the tree industry in North Idaho? My wife and I live in Tulsa, OK, however all of our family is up there, so we have debated selling/liquidating our company, and moving up the within the next 5-7 years or so. Just a thought at the moment. -How many days a...

    Cordless Drill for GRCS (?)

We used my Milwaukee Super Hawg M18 Fuel with a 12 amp hour battery to winch up a rescue dummy with a GRCS. We had about 30 competitors at Oklahoma Rescue, and it ran all day with a few batteries.

    COLD!

-20 wind chill supposedly in Tulsa Friday morning. Will be delivering 6 loads of tub ground mulch via 16 foot dump trailer for a garden. Luckily the 2004 Intr DT466 starts instantly without being plugged in during single digit temps. Got lucky with it!

    Bandit Chipper

Unless they’re starting to plug in the new Ford 7.3L or 6.8L, I’m not sure why they would say the 6.2 is unavailable?

Articulated Loaders.... Rear Steer or Front Steer?

I have a Giant 254 Tele HD and love it!!! There is no tail swing with the front steer and no blind spots. Also, the Giant oscillates 8 degrees which makes the ride super smooth, you also get constant 4 wheel traction, and it’s lighter on the turf because the weight distributes way better...

    Getting commercial work.

I run a small tree preservation company here in Tulsa. I have noticed that 99% of our sales for the last four years has been strictly residential, I never get calls from any businesses/commercial clients, so I was curious about how you start getting this kind of work? Is it just cold calling and...

Help me save a 200+ year old specimen beech.

6 inches of mulch seems very excessive, and may shed water away from some of the trees soil volume. If the mulch is all hardwood, I would be a little leery of increasing the manganese levels too high over time. It would be worth doing a mix of soft and hardwood chips, and preferably aged fine...

Whats a Work Comp company that will deal with a small tree service?

It’s what I do. All of my guys are under the arborist/logging comp code through the labor company. They charge 148% the employee’s hourly rate, which is 2% more compared to me doing it all, but I save 2 hours a week in office work, so it actually makes me more money. I pay a ground guy $20.00 an...

    Russia invades Ukraine

It is a bummer... I used to watch it fly in and out every month or two here in Tulsa. It would pick up and deliver oil field equipment. It was incredible seeing it just floating low in the air. It pretty much had to fly halfway across the city super slowly to land.

    2017-2018 Brush Bandit 19xp

Your engine is not the 6.2 Ford correct? The 5.7GM/PSI has had many problems, and one of them being excessive oil consumption leading to the premature failure of the cats. “If you look at the ones on the used market, the discharge shoots all have soot on them from the oily exhaust”. The 6.2 does...
