Any of you guys done it? A buddy of mine who is 62 has shingles and it decimated him, he can't do shit. He keeps telling me to do the vaccine as it is so effective and sides free I distrust fucking with my body so am inclined not to- pctree

So , just an update, after I posted last I took a nap after work as I was destroyed and when I woke had a really itchy spot on my arm. Another fucking tick!! Pulled and flushed it. What we do is quite special. Perspective is everything.
You know what really gives me the hebejebez about that pick is the use of a strap. Years ago we were making a butt pick with a strap and as it tightened up it melted right through the eye. I have been using chains now exclusively for about 4 years. Easier and faster to use and more piece of mind imo- pctree

Funny side note, I have Hepatitis C. When I get ticks which is very often since I MTB a lot the are usually dead when I pull them off . Still got Lyme's few years back though- pctree
