    Mark, I hadn't thought of that, but I think that's a good idea. I do a lot of reading on a chainsaw carving forum and I've never read that. Maybe I'll post about that. Thanks for the idea.

    here's some. My goal was to teach myself a new trade ( chainsaw carving) I could cut there tree down then get a carving job. That much less wood to haul out.

    The twister changed everything. That carving job is on the back burner. This tree came down three days ago, and they want me to carve them a lighthouse. I'll have to post pictures of that. (Unless they're not welcome?)

    this is the same house I did a dangerous removal that I posted about under rigging and roping ("wish me luck"). In the backround you can see three removals I did a couple weeks ago for them. The stumps are still there cuz I was about to start a big chainsaw carving job! Would've been my first...

    I have six ropes and for everyday work I like 11.5mm best. For competitions I like the 7/16, w. pretty colors. I buy a rope a year, but not cuz I need it. :) I like to wait until the ITCC and see what the best of the best are using.
