Its that time of year

here's some. My goal was to teach myself a new trade ( chainsaw carving) I could cut there tree down then get a carving job. That much less wood to haul out.

John when you carve on the stump do you do any flat cuts on the bottom(bore cuts) to allow drying instead of rotting. Just a thought.
 
Mark, I hadn't thought of that, but I think that's a good idea. I do a lot of reading on a chainsaw carving forum and I've never read that. Maybe I'll post about that. Thanks for the idea.
