    Two Rope Climbing

@southsoundtree , yes, Aaron has it right I believe. When I visited Paul, we really had a great time coming up with names for things. He had a way of actually leaning inward with one hand way forward on longer limbwalk returns. Lean. Lean on me. Who wrote that somg? Bill Withers. Then...

Looks a little harsh. There must be a happy medium between those and the tall ones.

Lots of exposure. Reduction sounds like a good plan but I don’t know much about Euc CODIT. Maybe @Matias ?

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

Please review the Akibaki 2. I have a couple gen1’s and like them alot. Can’t figure what’s really changed in the gen2’s.

ART BlackBird for "MRT and SRT"

I think the Akimbo has really been one of the best all around devices I’ve flown. I’ve found a setting that works very well in MRS and SRS alike when pairing it with Courant Kalimba. Just awesome for getting off the crane and onto a spar. Something’s going to have to be really really special...

You’re really on to it, Steve. I remember adjusting for days until I found just the right setup for epicord on Tachyon. I eventually had it as close to a Spiderjack as you could hope for. Quite a learning experience for me. Mainly just glad to hear you’re relaxing into it.

No, Steve, not with your saw. Just slings. My comment was really just about how you described your tilt (which is how my sub’s head tilts) and how I’ve actually seen Aaron’s 160 head tilt. I will have to show this thread to my sub and see if he has tried feathering his down. This is all really...

I wonder if this is due to running the solenoid function through the crane remote vs. the tele-radio. From working with both of your current cranes, I can say I prefer how Aaron’s G2 160 tilts.

Thanks for the info, Brian. Very helpful. Is your shop Crane Specialists? I’ve been talking with them and they seem quite knowledgeable.

Everything you’ve said makes sense to me, I just don’t understand what you’re referring to with passive and active “dumping”. I understand the function just not the difference of passive and active. In regard to the Mecanil tearing a boom apart, I would add that we don’t necessarily have to go...

Folks will likely never stop innovating so we will likely never stop learning. If you search over the GMT, try to add “TTC” or “Total Tree Control” in your search. The system is dang impressive!
