    500i

My boss finally got a 500i and man honestly didn't expect that much more power. Really couldn't believe how fast and smooth it felt. But I was cutting ash. Little softer wood. Big wood though. And this is coming from using Ms 461s 462s and a ms661. The 500i seems on par to the 661s . It was...

Chainsaw-hooks that "stay in-place"? Loved Edelrid, HATE my Evo...

You will dig the shembinner...there nice. I like gated hooks also they have their place but I like a shembinner or my dmm transporter I rigged/ cut the gate off. So I could put on the right side of my saddle. Just because I like to rack and pick up my saw 1 handed.

Chainsaw-hooks that "stay in-place"? Loved Edelrid, HATE my Evo...

I have a few types of lanyards. So I do a few things. 1 is using a carabineer to rack. Another has a ring to rack. And I have and old school lanyard I don't rack my saw with just let it hang. Sometimes. And I also can use a carabineer to rack 1 handed if I wanted.

Same I feel the vault and transporter solve that problem..I took 1 of my dmm vaults and cut the gate off to turn it into more of a shembinner style. Works good. 1 hand rack and un rack my saw. I'll have to get pictures later
