I'm on my 2nd 550xp, both ported and 20" 3/8. New one is the mark 2. Both flat out own that 20" bar in any type of wood. I imagine they would pull a 24 in softer woods ok.
That being said, I usually go from a 020t with a 16" to a 24" on a 562xp, unless there's lots of 16-20" diameter cuts, I'd...
Another vote for metolius. I have the Express haul pack, lighter and smaller than their haul bags. It fits 200' rope, flipline and lanyard, sadlle with suspenders and a decent bit of climbing gear. Might squeeze a helmet in one with a shorter rope and less bulky saddle. They make bigger sizes...
Mini Ex has a grapple and hitch on the blade. Chipper weighs about as much as the machine (if not a little more) so moving it on low traction or very steep surfaces isn't ideal. Also, can't really feed the chipper with the mini that way, although it does have a winch... I guess I could make some...
Thanks for the reply, lots of great information.
I do have a mini excavator but no tracked chipper, I would have to really make mitigation a cornerstone of my business to see the investment pan out.

Thanks guys I will definitely reach out to the local FD.
Shadowscape- The neighborhood I live in is a "Firewise Community". From my understanding one can log the hours they work or hire out to help lower homeowners' insurance rates for the community. Luckily our place had been "mitigated" a few...
Anyone on the 'Buzz do much fire mitigation?
I am having trouble finding much info for professionals out there. Most of what I've read is geared towards homeowners.
Is there a Best Practices or anything similar available?
Seems relatively straightforward but I'm sure there's a bit more to...
Basically this is a branch manager bmg setup for a kubota mini ex with quick attach. Fits 2-4ton machines. Easy to adapt to other makes of excavators with new bucket ears.
Hoses are pretty long and have male 1/2" npt fittings. I used flat faced quick couples for mine but you will need to figure...
Not sure, never ran it stock.
The muffler is gutted and the opening is enlarged under the factory deflector.
It's comparable to a 261 with a bark box that I've run. Aka pretty dang loud if you're used to stock saws.
