    What type of mini do you have, Bucknut? I'm going to be shopping for one this winter. That makes sense that you can just bring the logs to the gate and lift them over...I bet using a log-right log arch would be a practical way to move them when needed.

    Gosh, that puts a damper on your day. Is that the wide track machine? I talked to a Bartlett employee who said they rolled their Bobcat mini skid so often they ruined the engine. I guess, if you think you're about to roll it, shut the machine off right away, right?

    I think the Bobcat has a flip-down platform with a little caster wheel under it....that might not be great in an uneven terrain like the woods. Hopefully you can take it off. I like the sound of a platform that flips up if you want to walk instead, like on your Dingo. Some of the Vermeer models...

    Big grapple! Is that a Branch Manager? Is that the attachment you use the most for logs.....or is a conventional grapple useful too. Also, how do the Bobcat mini's measure up? I've seen their specs, but don't know about their reputation.
