We have a minor hydraulic leak on one of the inlet hoses to the pump. I’m not sure why there’s two inlet hoses but we tried to tighten the hose clamp and it was tight like tiger. Started when it got real cold. I thought it was like coolant hoses when they shrink in the cold weather. Any ideas or...
I’m outfitting my three workers with chainsaw pants since they hem and haw about chaps.
Im concerned about them not lasting long with dragging brush.
I was recommended the dogwoods from arborwear but some reviews have panned them for ripping on brush.
About five years ago a homeowner borrowed a nearby tree guy's forestry truck to take down a huge dead oak at his house and supposably took a huge top out with no notch. This was 15 minutes from my house.
The top was balance just right to not pinch the saw and it "lawn darted" down and ripped...
I totally get the feeling... Being in soooo far with throwing money into a burn pit you just say efff it and go ahead and fix the piece of crap and hope for the best.
In the next month or two I’m going to start transitioning to work positioning in the tree. I hurt my left foot but I’m right foot dominant with a foot ascender for pruning.
My concern is wearing spurs and how long in can take the pain from standing on them.

Two things i feel the hhxf has over hitch based srs devices is the hitch is on the top so your glove doesn't get sucked in when descending. The other thing is that the hhxf requires less force input to initiate the decent. very easy to engage.
I wonder how bad that chipper was rocking when he ran to shut it down. Prolly like me at an open bar wedding.
Also, when the drum is replaced or repaired are they going to do the bearings too? I'd find it hard to get them off without taking a torch to them
