And likely worth every penny. We are doing a crane job tomorrow. We totally could do the tree without but the efficiency and minimizing impact on the landscape is sometimes worth the expense.

Zero concern. It is built rock solid. I mostly use mine with a 60” wide tractor bucket for moving chips and stump grindings or for grading after we do big stumps. I also occasionally use it with forks when milling or moving things around at our place.
Avant sells adapter plates that allow you to use your Avant with full size skid steer attachments or with mini skid attachments. I have the full size one so I can use my Kubota tractor buckets and forks with my Avant.

I spent some time with Jamie at Jambo 1 & 2. What struck me was how generous he was and how much he just loved to have a good time and goof off with the rest of us. Those experiences along with the quality and consistency really helped make me a Yale Ropes guy.
Pruning margins are often way better than removal. And you can only remove a tree once…. Repeat clients are better than one time visits. I love doing removals but I’m trying to build a very diverse reputation with our company.

my only regret with cutting it off was that I didn’t do it before I bolted it on! I did more damage to things with that thing and maybe only pushed over 10 trees with it the whole time it was on there. The bollard is great and we use that constantly.
At my place I’m thinking of making an arborists version of frisbee golf using throwballs and throwline. We’ve got 60 acres so I’m pretty sure we can make 18 holes.
