Putting out feelers to see if anyone is interested in a like new pair of blue Scafell Lites in size 12. Asking $250 shipped in US. Too much boot for what I do but great for the everyday production logger or arborist.
2) Zamberlan goretex boots excellent condition size 10 dark brown full grain leather. $225 shipped.
Send me a DM and I’ll be glad to take more pics of whatever you want.
Included shipping to US only unless other arrangements can be made.
So I think everyone seems to have $1800-$2800 invested on average. Back to the original question, what would you charge per client/visit just to get off the ground and pay for the gear by the time it needs to be replaced.
$2300/3yrs gear life/40wks climbing work per year = $19.20 per week gear...
I’m so jealous. I got a taste of the mighty redwoods last summer at Muir Woods. Never felt more in awe of nature and can only imagine a place like it without the fences and walking paths….and all the people. Rick on @rico .
My son’s saddle that has maybe 5 rec climbs on it. Still has the tags on it along with the bag, manual and attaching loop material never used. He’s going to college now and needs the $$ more.

Hard to say not having tried either of those myself. I’d say they are regular fit. If you have a chance to try a pair at a store near you, might be the best way to judge. I’ve tried Chippewa, Keen, Merrill and Timberland and these will always be my go-to brand.
