life expectancy for eye 2 eyes?

I'm pretty light (150) plus some geared up, so most of the binding with ice tail I contribute to lots of pine sap... I like the hitch as compact as possible, so I have slowly sheared off an inch or two over the years. All my hitch cords are tied. Pretty cool hearing all the combos for different...

life expectancy for eye 2 eyes?

VT, 4 wraps three braids, over, under, under. Usually 28-29". Really reliable and works well either double rope or with the rope wrench.

life expectancy for eye 2 eyes?

Been loving the armor prus. Just got 2 months out of my first, which is pretty long for up here in pine country! I've tried a lot and the armor is my favorite by far, followed by ice tail (binding is an issue though).

I love my line of work

Pruning some heritage white oaks last winter... gorgeous bluebird day, 60 degrees, mellow vibe... looking up at this massive oak we just finished and had a big bald eagle circle several times... super low... tipped his wings in approval and continued on... Stoked.

    gallery of shame

Macro- That looks horrible, I would want to move also! I feel for you... When something is so rampant such as that, i've taken to calling it 'lifestyle and education'. It is extremely difficult to educate those that don't want to or aren't open to being educated by an expert... As far as I'm...

    I'm shocked!

Re: I\'m shocked! Sorry, but I have NO sympathy for him. If that set-up doesn't make someone happy, nothing will. Call me up when you expand your territory to Bend, OR.

    I'm shocked!

Re: I\'m shocked! I do the majority of bidding for the small company I work for. Then I run the crew and do all the climbing. I would be super stoked to get even a 1g bonus. Staying on track, sit him down and review his contract, so that both employee and employer can be on the same page in the...

That's what I love about this profession. Underneath it all, there is a true passion.

    What if?

Invest so I could live happily on the interest. Get the family all set up (no more mortgages) New truck and chipper, all converted to run on veg oil. Pick and choose the most fun pruning and care jobs, only doing warranted removals (in my eyes). Definitely would not quit!

You might be an arborist if . . .

someone tells you 'you must be part monkey' at least once a day. you stumble down the sidewalk like a drunk because you're looking up at the trees.

    Negative postings and personal slander

Nice post Cafferky. I feel the same about this site. It's alright to post videos that may be unsafe or unprofessional, but slandering someone for it is uncool. On the flip side, being defensive because you got ripped for lack of ppe/professionalism is not ok either. People just need to be more...

In the time it took to spew Ricky, I bet you and your 'men' could have put on some hat hats. I don't always get stuff done... but when I do, it's with proper ppe.
