I only mentioned the hole drilling for others who may want that. We just ordered new pads for our Merlo and were going to have them drill holes for us but then we decided on a different plan, but I know they offer that service.

The plastic tabs on the side of the battery are fragile. We just broke one of ours the other day. It still works but we’ve almost dropped it out of the saw twice now. I’m not sure if it’s repairable or not.

I’m heavier than you and I gave up on the rope runner. I tried it on ropes from 11.5-12.5 and could not get it dialed in. Sold it and I use a zigzag w/chicane. It’s smooth as butter regardless of what rope I run it on.
