    Lightning Protection?

Christian and I made the trip from Ontario to Florida for that symposium, I think the concensus was that it is still under investigation. It seems that a lot is being put into research and many scientist have been involved but 'time will tell', was the most popular amoung answers to many...

    Tree Climb Competition Circut

would there still be a liability issue if the different states or provinces offered an invitation to compete? Given certain guidelines I'd assume. For example; paying registration fees, unable to compete in masters, etc. Sounds like a very interesting idea to me.

[ QUOTE ] Why are the spots limited for the women? Is this a first come, or flip the coin thing? [/ QUOTE ] Yes they are, women are given five of the thirty available spots for competition, I believe it is done on a first come first serve basis. I'm curious now, are there not captions for...

    Burned Biner

Interesting take on the whole spidey sense comment, I thought it was in reference to spiderman. Any hoo, WOW, great topic and thanks for sharing Nick. I once suggested using biners at work to cut some corners and now I understand why those I suggested it to weren't so receptive. I wonder why...

Are you asking about provincial certs? I would think that the international cert would be recognised world wide but provincial certs....I think that's a grat question. Would Australia honour your BC cert? And if not am I wasting time getting my Ont cert? Should I just concentrate on my...

    Employees buy own gear?

My boss provides us with climbing gear on the basis that we sign a five year contract saying that we will continue work for him until that five years has past. If we chose to move on before that term is up then we have the option of buying out of the contract. I don't mind this set up although...
