    No problem with the blades but the ferrules on Marvin poles are softer, wear faster and gall more that Jameson's. They are not "bad" just less good.

    what size throw bags do you use ?

    I have used bags from 8-16 oz but will probably never buy another in any weight besides 12oz or 14oz. 12 usually hits the balance between ease of throwing and getting the bag to drop for me.

    No. Charlie did not compete-he is honeymooning. Matt Mayo worked as a judge in the aerial rescue rather than competing and James Melton didn't participate this year. It was a good comp in that we had fun and there were some good trees for the events but several of the chapter's top climbers...
